If you are ready to transform your team into a contender based on toughness, this is the video for you!
Culture Drills
Coach Schaefer begins by discussing the importance of earning your player’s trust and putting yourself and your players in uncomfortable situations for growth. Toughness is a high priority for Coach Schaefer; this is evident in their ‘Daily Culture Drills.’ The ‘Defense to the Floor’ and ‘Mirror’ drills not only will get players warmed up but reinforce a winning mindset to play extremely hard on defense.
Next you will get several ways to change up your shell drill and keep players focused. The 3 on 3 Rebounding drill will get your players to understand what you mean by “playing hard” - it is a great drill where the notion of “you get what you emphasize” is on full display!
Flow Drills and Dribble Drive Concepts
Moving from defense, you will get multiple drills that work on flow offense, playing with great pace, and attacking in transition. The 231, 341, and 451 drills will teach players how to be aggressive and find open shots in transition as well as teach them how to recover defensively. In a momentary offensive advantage, players learn how to run their lanes, keep spacing, and attack the defense.
Lastly, you will see the basic principles of the dribble drive motion that has created so much success for Coach Schaefer over the years. Proper spacing, cutting angles, and gap creation are all covered plus a 1-4 set to create a super gap for maximum space to attack!
This video is a culture changer for any program! The toughness drills, the attack drills, and everything in between will give you a foundation for great success!
