Are you looking for a simple continuity offense that is easy for players to learn, yet still has the capability of creating a variety of high-quality scoring opportunities? Tyler Whitcomb has created just that! The Elevation Offense will open up the floor, create hard-to-defend screening situations, and also provide chances for your posts to score at the rim. Additionally, this video will show you how to flow into the Elevation attack through transition offense and inbound plays.

Structure and Essentials

The Elevation Offense uses a Horns alignment to create a consistent structure for the continuity. Whitcomb uses white board diagrams as well as on-court demonstration to show you multiple options for entering into the offense by the dribble, pass, or in transition. The offense is taught through simplistic "automatics" that will help your players quickly pick up the structure to the continuity.

Coach Whitcomb also clearly explains the many opportunities available for scoring within the continuity. You will see how the floor spacing creates a huge advantage for the offense on baseline drives. Additional calls and reads are also given to help you score in a variety of ways off the primary "elevation" screen action. These will help you create isolation situations or the ability to exploit vulnerabilities in your opponent's defensive strategy. Multiple calls can be used to quickly attack anything the defense uses to try to stop your team.

Sets and Breakdown Drills

You'll get seven inbound sets that complement the Elevation offense. Five baseline inbound plays use the box alignment to flow directly into the "elevation" screen while adding in additional wrinkles to give you different scoring opportunities. Two sideline inbound plays are also demonstrated that will launch your athletes straight into the continuity offense.

To build the offense, you'll also receive four breakdown drills for use in practice. These will help your guards work on the shooting footwork off of the "elevation" screen and improve their ability to attack defenders on drives. Your posts will get better at finishing around the rim while slipping the screen. The 5-on-0 drill efficiently rehearses all the scoring options available to players within the Elevation Offense.

This offensive system allows you to run continuity by passing, replacing, and going through specially-designed screens. The best part about the Elevation Offense is it takes away help defenders in almost every situation and is a full-blown Horns continuity. An absolute must-watch if you're seeking a new offensive system or new ideas!
